Chairman

Dr Sin Chai

Dr Sin Chai brings extensive business experience across manufacturing, construction, real estate, aviation, hospitality, and farming, with operations based in Southeast Asia, Canada and Australia.

He established and managed his family’s portfolio of farms in Canada and Australia and now oversees the group’s real estate, hotel and restaurant interests. Under his leadership, the family has acquired and developed a number of properties, including Inverlochy Castle Hotel, Rocpool Reserve and Blanefield in Scotland, as well as holdings across the world.

Managing Director

Norbert Lieder

ICMI Managing Director Norbert Lieder has over 30 years of experience in hotel management. He has held senior roles with Kempinski, Hilton International and The Datai in Malaysia, and has served as General Manager at hotels across Asia, the Caribbean and Scotland.

As General Manager of Inverlochy Castle Hotel, he oversaw its transformation into “The Best Hotel in Europe” as recognised by Travel & Leisure. Norbert continues to lead ICMI’s business success across all areas of the portfolio. 

Sales and Marketing Manager

John Green

With over 20 years’ experience in hospitality sales and marketing, John has held senior roles at Conrad Hotels, Four Seasons, Regent Hotels, and The Landmark London. He was General Manager at The Hempel before founding John Green Communications (JGC) in 2004.

At ICMI, John leads international sales activity across the portfolio, bringing one of the industry’s strongest global sales teams. He works closely with the Managing Director to drive targeted business development and long-term commercial growth.

Operations Manager

Kerry Watson

After completing her degree in business management, Kerry moved straight into the management of Relais & Châteaux properties across Scotland. She was appointed General Manager of Rocpool Reserve at just 26 and now leads all operational projects across ICMI. Kerry is responsible for delivering and implementing ICMI’s standards across every service area.

Operations Manager

Niki Gillies

Niki brings over 12 years of hands-on hotel management experience and is a graduate of the General Managers Program at Cornell University. Having grown alongside ICMI, she now oversees group-wide operations with a focus on performance, consistency, and service delivery.

Known for her attention to detail and calm leadership, Niki supports both teams and owners in achieving operational excellence.

Revenue and Reservations Manager

Dorota Cikala

With a background in hospitality management and business strategy, Dorota has led revenue and reservations functions at multiple hotels for over a decade. She heads up ICMI’s central reservations team and plays a key role in driving occupancy and rate performance across the portfolio.

Accounts Manager

Andy Yearling

A chartered accountant with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Andy leads the accounts and finance function for the ICMI portfolio. With 15 years’ experience across both practice and industry, he provides financial oversight, reporting, and cost control to support each hotel’s commercial goals.
