Chez Roux Restaurant

We are looking for experienced/confident waiting staff. You should be able to organise and motivate yourself, and not afraid of hard work i.e. leading by example. Candidate's main objective is to be catering for the guests needs with in the restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner. In this "hands on" position, candidates should expect cleaning duties and preparation for the days business, as well as exemplary service to our guests. This is a seasonal position from April to 31st October 2017.

Applicants must have a good level of English both spoken and understanding.

Front of House Duty Manager

Inver Lodge & Chez Roux is currently looking for an experienced/confident Front of House Duty Manager to join our management team

We pride ourselves on the highest level of service and attention to detail is paramount. Candidates should be of the highest professional calibre, able to organise and motivate staff, and not afraid of hard work i.e. leading by example. This is a seasonal position (March to November) and you must be able to work within the United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate for this position: Must have previous experience in a similar role (with a minimum of 2 years in a 4 star property at supervisory/management level) courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service, must be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organize and plan ahead and have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environment.

Applicants must have a good level of English both spoken and understanding. We do ask that any applications should be in English please.

 

Housekeepers

General Hotel cleaning, stripping &  making beds, Vacuuming & dusting, cleaning of bathrooms, replenishing tea and coffee tray etc.

  • Previous experience in a three or four star hotel essential. Uniform and meals on duty provided.
  •  5 ½ to 6 Day Week.
  • Turn-down shifts. Evening work. Experience preferred and must be able to converse in and read English fluently; also be of a friendly and pleasant disposition.

The duties would involve turning down rooms, general tidying. We are looking for candidates with great communication skills, self-motivation and the ability to show initiative.

 

Previous Employment

References will only be taken up if we are looking to progress your application, following interview and/or offer of employment. If you are in employment one reference must be a senior member of that organisation. Other references should include either previous employers or educational institutions.
